Sony Experia XA2 Ultra suddenly died, keeps showing SONY screen but not powering on

Hi all. I have had my Sony Experia XA2 Ultra for exactly six months. Today, it randomly shut off at about 80-90% battery. Ever since, it keeps vibrating and flickering on to show the white SONY splash screen, then turns off again. I cannot get it to power on, whether it is plugged into the charger or not.

The phone is in great condition, with no cracks or dust. Has been in a protective case this whole time, and I checked and none of the buttons are stuck (i.e. power or volume button).

I have tried charging it for a few hours and then turning it on. Nope. I have tried holding power + volume up for 10 seconds, waiting for the three vibrations, waiting a bit, then powering on. Nope. I have tried removing my SIMs and SD storage cards. Nope. I tried taking off the protective screen film. Nope.

No matter what, the white SONY splash screen keeps intermittently flashing, but the phone itself won't power on.

Getting kinda desperate here. Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Push Off and volume up buttons at the same time for more than 5 sec. After the phone will stop turning on only with Sony logo, use system repair from Pc Companion and then everything will be fine.

I experienced the same issue but I managed to fix it, you'll have to download the xperia companion for your computer and then plug your phone in your computer Slightly_smiling_Face
