I would like to share some issues I am facing with my XA1 and see if others have seen the same and hopefully found a solution for it.
I have changed car recently and went for a Volvo which can be connected to internet for real time traffic info and some other nice apps.
The XA1 is connected to the Volvo with bluetooth for making/receiving calls and SMS's.
I wanted to connect the car by sharing the mobile connection over Wifi (tethering) but noticed very quickly that the car did not always find the wifi hotspot running on the mobile.
So I tried to share the internet connection over bluetooth.
This is working most of the time but when the internet connection is shared, I notice that the bluetooth connection becomes very instable in such a way that calling using the car-kit is impossible (call "moving" from car-kit to mobile and back every 10 sec).
In order to exclude the equipment in the car to be the root cause, I tried with other mobile phones and with those I do not see the same problems.
Is there anyone else who faced similar problems and if so, did you find a solution ?
I would also like to exclude a HW problem on the mobile, do you know how I can make sure that HW is in good shape ?
