Hi admins, Sony,
I have few days testing the 50.2.A.0.379 Xperia XA2/Ultra/dual models.
I must admit that this upgrade made this phone be outstanding and feeling so great in day to day usage even about battery life. No more signal problems, nor Bluetooth or else till now.
But Sony, why it must be a BUT? If Sony implemented this from factory software, a few months ago, there were no refurbished XA2 family phones, nor losing big fans. Sony learn from mistakes please!
Because I am trying to help and keep my friends to use Xperia device with great pleasure, I am sending these issues here for all of us! Two issues are still bad. One is new the other is old!
1. Stock camera is still bad and even worst compared to Andoird 8. Third parties are the only better compared to stock Sony camera. I will put some samples about issues I have found and please take note to fix these issues:
a) The night mode (from flash mode) is worst than before because of more noise and the camera offers mixed results, never constant (sometimes with no noise-grain at all, and most of the times very grainy). Look at some samples took in very dark with stock camera:

c) Now, manual focus have errors at its margins regarding macro or infinite. When scrolling to minimum or maximum on the ruler grid of manual setting, the camera remains in blur as if was never triggered to change the focus. Look a sample of macro and the same is with infinite (on third party it's working well):

2) The second issue (very important) is about call recording. Sony do something for XA2 family to record call, make an app or something. Sony, I have friends that now are more complaining about this device and more and more people will quit using your devices.
Sony take wise actions to keep your fans appreciating you like in the past.

Bad superior mode for low light mode. Big in size - over 10 mp, slow shutter speed, multiple shots and the results are like that:

We are few die hard fans that are waiting for improving camera for android 9.

I come with latest upgraded me and my friends using Xperia devices are waiting for the latest and very neccesary upgrades.
Even though I've tried in front of my friends to tell everything is fine (for this device at least) there are issues that weren't fixed by many weeks till now. Sony is losing ground and none are wanting to buy because of your insolence of individuals like you. Even if you are still receiving issues still nothing is done. If you were able to send instructions to software engineers and functional updates were implemented there was no problem yet in any device not only XA2 ultra (L3 have fatal screen and software issues and still do not care after 6 months of being on the market worldwide).
Anyway because I also use XA2 ultra dual the issues I still can relate like the user above, for android 9 still are:
- a.Camera it isn't upgraded at all - same or maybe worst as in anddroid 8. Using Force Hal1 by some third party apps - that in Android 8 was not, it have an exif record of an ZTE Chinese model. Is Sony using ZTE’s processing? Are you being able to send this from a die hard fan using third parties for a Sony bad stock camera XA2ultra? Huh? If yes: DO IT PLEASE!
- b.Front wide stock camera on HDR mode is freezing when taking pictures and its quality it’s awful (in my previous posts in this thread I was showing some examples of this issue).
How can you imagine a device like this will be bought anymore? How can I recommend Xperia when its care admins are smoking weed and pretending everything is fine? Get real dudes! You have killed Sony Xperia with your insolence! Hope you are happy!
