Hi all,

I've just installed SP2 and re-installed utility (UTILS.EXE) but I can't eject the DVD drive with Fn+E neither with the "eject button" near the drive. On the screen the "EJECT" windows appear but the drive remain immoble...
I've always to use the TINY button on the drive itself...

I have just upgraded SP2 on xp pro, I can no longer eject the DVD drive with the small button by the drive itself, I can however eject the drive by going to explorer and right clicking the drive and going 2 eject. My drive does eject automatically though when I record music and the CD is finished - you are correct though it is a right royal pain by not being able to use the small button:smileysad:

I found the problem.

On my system I installed Alchool 120% that created a "virtual drive". Installing SP2, windows "set" the virtual drive ad primary in the system, so every time i pressed "eject" nothing appened because it sended this command to the virtual drive.

Un-installed Alchool and everything now work.
