I SUCCESSFULY DOWN LOADED WINDOWS 8 HOWEVER AFTER TWO DAYS IT STOPED RESPONDING.  EACH TIME I CLICK ON A TILE IT WONT OPEN, THE EGG TIMMER APPEARS BUT NO CONNECTION TO INTERNET MADE, I CAN ONLY CONNECT TO INTERNET THROUGH MY OLD DESKTOP , ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

Which Vaio model do you have?

Did you follow Sony's instructions to update to Windows 8?

Did you choose to 'keep Windows settings and files' when you installed Windows 8?

Which drivers have you installed for Windows 8 - particularly the Wireless Driver?

Look in Device Manager - are there any yellow warnings showing uninstalled drivers?

Difficult to help without at least the basic details of the problem.
