Hallo user,
WinXP Pro OEM Version ist not installable with the F 6 method during the installation-setup.
When I take the Intel (R)82801GBM SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH7M) Driver, than the winpxp-set don´t found the installed harddisk.

When I take the Driver Intel ® 82801GBM SATA RAID Controller (Mobile ICH7MR/DH) the windows-setup ist going until formated the partition C: with data system ntfs. Than the setup to require the Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver to the data medium in drive A: and enter.

The usb-drive A: is not responsive, with enter no reaction. I only can stop the setup with F3.

Know anyone thiss problem and can help me?

Have you tried downloading the Intel® Matrix Storage Manager Floppy Configuration Utility.

This will create a disc containing the RAID drivers and will also preload the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

I have dowload the Software from the website, but I can´t install the Driver-software at a other pc for create a driver diskette. My Desktop-PC have not the minimal requirement to install the Manager.

where can I create a disk for the configuration utility?

Until I have the raid driver from the sony website (prepaired installed driver) and their form the folder raid, but is not avaible with this driver to install XP.

Can you me send a link or data which I require to create a floppy disk?

Have you tried using Costasp's floppy disc? This appears to contain the Intel Matrix Storage Manager installer plus SATA plus RAID.

Just copy his file from THIS THREAD BY COSTASP - you need to click on "here's the one I created " and download it to a floppy disc.

yes I have downloaded the driver from costasp and it is unfortunately not running. there is only the SATA AHCI Controller ICH7M. the xp-setup load the driver, but the setup don´t found install harddisk. only when I take the SATA RAID Controller ICH7MR/DH the install Harddisk founded, but after formated LW C: the usb-floppy is not responsive.
