I have a Sony Vaio FZ11S laptop with Windows Vista Premium and a couple of times recently I have started it up and Windows Vista refuses to display the Network status, battery status and volume control on the notification area of the taskbar. When this occurs, if I go into the Taskbar properties, the checkboxes for these icons are disabled.
Once I've restarted my computer, the icons reappear.
It's only happened twice in three months I've had the computer and both times this week.
Is it a bug with Vista or something else?
Anyone?
This problem has occurred quite a few times recently.
