The image of my screen is disturbed

Hi, I have a problem with my SONY VAIO FE11H.
My notebook has about 4 months.
Unfortunately the image is disturbed on the right side of the screen.
This problem is noticed when the image is dark.
For example, when I turn on my notebook and the writing "WINDOWS XP" it appears, I notice some vertical strip on the right side of the monitor.
I don't know if the problem concerns the screen or the video card.
I hope you can give me a hand.

Hey Maxy85. Connect it to an external monitor and see if the fault duplicates itself on the monitor. If it doesn't then it points to a fault with the laptop screen.
