SVL2412Z1EB - AIO No "edge access"

I have just bought this AIO and it does not support "edge access" and I can find no mention of it in the Sony user manual.  However on the web it says it does have this funtion - such as touching the VAIO logo and opening photos.

Any ideas/input appreciated.

Me too. A number of other features are different from what has been advertised. Lack of a decent manual makes it very hard. The edge access seems to have mostly been replaced by dragging a finger ONTO the screen, rather than tapping the frame. Tap on the logo has yet to be found. I am going to do some posts on other strange features separately!

I did email Sony support regarding this and they just replied that only features in the manual are supported.  Didn't really give an answer as why the feature was no longer present in this model.  Looking it up on the web I did notice that the Sony document regarding it, was for a different model.
