I am interested in buying a SONYVAIO VPCSB3T9E which is on special offer online, so I can't see it before buying. Can someone tell me whether the screen is matte or glossy? Also, is it reflective and can it be used outside in sunshine? Thanks

From the specifications for this model it has a 'Vaio Display Plus' screen.

According to one post in this thread this is a glossy finish.

I suggest that you visit your local Sony store to see whether they have any models with the Vaio Display Plus screens on display.
