Hi
I recently dropped my laptop and since then, the system keeps freezing after it is boot up. I have tried system restore and chkdsk but its not helping and it seems to be getting worse. However, it seems to work in safe mode (with networking which is how I am able to get here 
)
A friend has suggested I reformat the hard drive and another suggests I get a new one.
Before I make any drastic decisions on the above, can someone advise me on what I need to do?
