I have recently started having a problem with my Sony Vaio. The model number is VGN-FS115E. The laptop will not boot at all. I have formatted the machine and done a clean install of XP Home because originally this looked like a software issue (long story). Now after i have resinstalled the computer only boots when you put pressure on the bottom left hand corner of the machine (just above where the hard drive is located). When you do this the computer boots up and some times shows a "Found New Hardware" message saying that its found ACPI Uniprocessor PC. I have taken the laptop apart (not touched anything) to see if there was any obvious loose connections but could not see anything.
Has anyone seen this or have any ideas where to start troubleshooting?
Thanks
Russell
