restore factory settings and keep adware

I want to restore my laptop with windows 7 on it to its factory setting as its been running a bit slow lately. I have heared that I can do this by pressing F10 at start up, but im worried to lose all the software that VAIO has installed on it when I first bought it. So will I lose these programs with this type of restoring and if so is there another way in which I can fully reinstall and bring my laptop back to how I first got it.

If you use F10 your Vaio will be returned to exactly how you bought it.  All the pre-installed software will be reinstalled but you will lose everything you have added yourself.

You will have to reinstall all Microsoft and Vaio Updates.
