Restore Errors?

Hi can anyone help?

I have had to restore my laptop, and I was still getting problems with Norton Internet Security?
So I am going to restore it again!
but I am now getting runtime error when I insert the Vaio disc?

Can anyone help?

Have you upgraded to Windows XP Professional by any chance? If you have then you will need to uninstall it and recover from the DVD or CD's first, then upgrade afterwards, then (optionally) install Service Pack 2 (SP2). There are other ways, but this is the easiest way.

Make sure you get the updates from VAIO-Link because there's a uPnP problem with VAIOs and NIS.
