Problem burning DVDs

Hi,
I'm having problems burning DVD-Rs in my VGN-A297XP. Nero cancels the burn process referring to a "Unspecified target error". Click to DVD just displays a generic failure message.

I hope that someone can provide a solution to this problem. I don't know what to do. I just bought 100 Hyundai DVD-R disks so I would really like to know what to do. I use Click to DVD version 2.1 and Nero 6.6.0.8, I have XP-SP2 installed.

It's probably due to the media type, cheaper DVDs have not so good layers, which makes DVD writers throw them out.
