Newbie needs help for Vaio Pocket 20gb

Hi guys - i've just bought this great piece of kit, registered on-line and my friend has showed me the workings of it on her pc (with her own Vaio) - now im home and ive loaded sonicstage correctly and its imported all my mp3's into the library but when I plug the vaio pocket in its just not seen by the pc (the vaio display says Data Transfer Mode Connected to PC and my PC can see it as an E: drive but sonic stage wont recognise it - help im going demented! also cant seem to find any updates for sonicstage and my friend has updated hers a few time?? again, help pleeeeease !!! Just spoke to the help line and they say that the Vaio pocket might not work with an ordinary PC - that sounds like tosh to me as my friend has been using hers for ages on an ordinary PC - its the Sonic Stage update I need - anyone know where to find this? Thanks, Ju x

Try downloading SonicStage 4.3 from here: -

You are right - it should work on any PC except those listed as not supported. (Multi-boot, upgraded OS, Multi Monitor, etc)
