Can anyone give guidance on setting up A320 and D30 wireless devices for use with RA104? And how to specify IP address on Network Media Receiver?

Malcolm,
I'm not sure I can supply you with the exact answer to your problems. But I appreciate that the config of the Network Media Receiver. (NMR) is not the simplest thing I have come across. I am relieved to know that I am not the only struggling.

I have exactly the same config as yourself with the A320 and DE30 and NMR. I must admit, I have not as yet managed to fully configure the NMR and am not yet in a situation to link TV to RA104 and vice versa.
The RA104 and TV are not in the same room and I was hoping to rely on the A320 to "talk" with the DE30 to deal with this. The signal is so weak between the two, that I was obliged to use 2 OLITECH Powerlans to pass through my electricity circuit in order to link the A320 to the DE30.

Now I'll have to revise a little to see what I did originally for the IP address. I will look and try to get back to you on this. I am consulting documentation in French, so excuse translations to English (although I am English).
To cut a long story short, I have configured the IP address, but am unable to continue and tune in my RA104 to the different TV channel frequencies.
Firstly :
I seem to recall that you have to make sure that the RA104 "talks" with the A320
Secondly,
The A320 must then be configured to be able to "talk" with the DE30.
Then the NMR should be able to "talk" to the DE30.

As for the IP address, you must first configure the different " servers" (Music, Photo and Video) via the VAIO Media software on your RA104 :
go to VAIO Media ,
\Administration Server, then to Console .
In Console
in the Access Control Config, choose option "Access computer from peripherals connected to this network).
Click ok on warning message .
Select option " Record from additional peripherals within the same secure network"
In the section "Start/Stop servers", verify that all servers are currently up and running.
If one of them is not running, restart ALL.

Now from the TV, you must then specify an IP address (I suggest you follow the guidlines in the doc - you can download it from the Viao club website.

To save me writing a novel, I suggest we leave it there until I get feedback from you

cheers
