LaCie USB drive (FA Porsche) & VGN-FS215E

Need some help!

Bought a 250MB USB2 FA Porsche design LaCie external drive yesterday.

It crashes the Vaio ever time I turn it on. The computer recognises that there is a USB mass storage device. Then about 15 seconds later it crashes the computer which then reboots. A long text message on a blue screen pops up for 1second (which isn't enuf time to read it) but I saw the words plug and play. I have tried rebooting in safe mode and by turning various drivers on and off.

Anyone had any experience with this or thoughts on where to go from here??

VAIO is standard, no other drives or ports. 60MB harddrive, windows XP with SP2. Quite a few camera drivers.
Cheers
Chris

Microsofts way to say no Bluescreens anymore.

I can't help you there but my the message will be helpful for the Lacie or VAIO-Link support.

Just disable fallow the pictures and disable automatic reboot.

You should have plenty of time to read the bluescreen messege then.
