HELP..After recovery disc!

Hi all,

My vaio laptop went through surgery last week. A dirty virus got on to it and so i had to send it off to be cleaned. So cleaning it they did, they took of EVERYTHING and just left me with a basic boring laptop. So i couldn't find my recovery disc as it was 5 years since i last saw it so spoke to sony and they sent me out a new one at a price to bring back my vaio... So my problem is my internet home page. For some strange reason it wont let me change it to google... Every time i do it through, TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS it goes back to http://www.club-vaio.com/en/

Can someone please help as its driving me nuts..

My laptop model is VGN-N11H/W, I just know its something real simply just brain not working proper.

Hi orlaith21,

I haven’t seen this problem raised for a few years but if you have returned the machine to factory settings of 5 years plus ago then you may find that your Internet Security software is the culprit.

Try turning off your Anti Virus software, change the home page and then re-enable the security software.
