hi ther just got my sony v2s great
problem when playing games i only get half the screen
why carnt i get full 20" wide screen

Does this screen have a non-standard resolution by any chance? I'm guessing it does since it's widescreen, and games run in standard resolutions so I don't think you can do much about it. All I can suggest trying is right clicking on the game file you open to run it, and select properties. Then look for an option about what size window to run the game in a choose 'Maximised'.

Well, the only solution is to use games that support widescreen (like LiveForSpeed LFS, Vietcong, and many others).
The second solution is to tweak around with the config files of each game and change there the resolutions to 16:10 !
