Hi,
I purchased a VGN-A215M Laptop approx a month ago and have been very impressed with it's capabilities.
I last used the CD/DVD Drive 3 days ago for both a data CD and DVD with no problems encountered.
I tried using it tonight and it fails. There is a rythmic 'knocking' noise and the CD's get very hot within the drive.
It has on a few occasions displayed the contents of the CD but fails to open the files. I have tried a number of CD / DVD Disks with the same results.
Any ideas / solutions welcome.
