Does anyone know how to correct firmware problem? i mean i have updated my vfi ap1 to a new firmware version 3.0 and then i cant no more access either to the SonicStage and the "music transfer" and just receive the message "the atrac hdd can not be used with this version of VAIO music transfer". I have tried some solutions such as reinstallation of all new concerning software but still it didnt work.
the another solution is to reformat the hhd but i havent tried cause it seems not a good solution!

If anyone have experience this, can u tell me some?

I have the exact same problem witm my VFG-AP1L;

Firmware, Sonic Stage and Vaio Music Transfer have all been updated to the latest version but I still get told that:

"The ATRAC Audio Device cannot be used with this version of Sonic Stage / Vaio Music transfer. "

My iPod-friends have been bugging the h... out of me lately because of this ==> somebody help me!!!

I´ve got the same problems after i did the firmware update.

i deinstalled every thin and reinstalled Sonic Stage, Vaio Music transfer and then i updated both but the prob is still there.
