Battery Charging

Does anyone know how to fully charge the battery on the vaio,  mine gets to 80 %  and stops.  I have the power plan set to Balanced.  Does this make any difference ?   The laptop is only 5 months old and Ive always had it plugged into the mains and not used the battery  ?

Hi tinytan,

This is probably due to the battery care function being enabled.

Depending on your model you can access this setting either via Vaio Control Center > Power Management > Battery Charge Settings, or with newer models I believe it is accessed via the Assist button.
