Hi jetskidia,
try switching User Account control off, rebooting your vaio and turning User Account control back on again, then reboot again..
To turn off UAC..
Click Start then click Control Panel..
In Control Panel click on User Accounts..
In User Accounts click on Turn User Account Control On or Off..
In the Turn User Account Control On or Off window place a remove the tick in the box next to 'Use user Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer'
Then click OK and restart your Vaio..
To enable UAC control again follow the above and replace the tick in the box next to 'Use user Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer'
