Hi gang,
I had cause to do a full factory reinstall on my Sony Vaio E Series model VPCEb4C5E following some issues.
Whilst it took care of my problems that i was experiencing sadly one thing has left me scratching my head for answers.
Before the forced reinstall, I used to put the laptop into sleep mode by closing the lid, and when opening the lid it would burst into life.
Now for some bizarre reason whenever i open the lid, nothing happens until i press a key on the keyboard before it turns back on again. I have checked all the power management settings etc. and still cannot fathom how it was before the reinstall.
Can anyone give any pointers how to achieve what I am after it to do?
