What model do you have?

XP or Vista?

What drivers have you downloaded? How have you installed these drivers?

I have the very exact problem.

Vaio VGN-TZ25FN

Windows Vista

Reinstalled original drivers and everyone that I can get from the web for the Ricoh webcam.

No luck...

Hi tob145.

I presume you have installed the original VCP-VCC7 driver (SODCAM-12938500-US.EXE) from here: -

http://esupport.sony.com/LA/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNTZ25FN

What camera capture software was originally installed on your Vaio? Have you reinstalled this also? There are a lot of Sony Applications on that page also but some applications are not available for download.

I downloaded the SODCAM-12938500-US.EXE driver (just for the Spanish version of the website you noted: http://esupport.sony.com/LA/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNTZ25FN&LOC=3). That is the one originally installed according Sony. I have reinstalled Vaio Camera Capture Utility and Vaio Camera Utility. I don't know what else to do.

Some months ago I had the same problem after a Windows Vista update (don´t know which one). I tried installing a lot of drivers for other TZ models, and eventually the camera worked again.

Now the problem arised after an update too, but I tried everything --I formatted and reinstalled Windows, etc.-- and the cam is still not recognized in the Device Manager, the VCCU shows "NO INPUT".

I don't think is a hardware issue, because last time the problem was solved with a new driver installation. I tried to reinstall all the drivers, original and new ones, and nothing happens.

Thanks in advance for any clue.

I have exactly the same problem (my system works as if no camera was connected to it, but in fact it has a motion eye integrated camera).

Did you finally solve your problem? How did you do it?

Thanks!!
