Can anyone advise me if there's a way to play MKV files on this TV?

Hi,

MKV files are just containers for video and audio.

So the video and audio formats must be compatible with your TV - else you can't play them.

Once you double check they're one of those supported codec, you just put your MKV file on a USB stick, connect it and that's about it.
