How to delete Channels

I have just bought a - Sony 32 Inch KDL32WE613BU 

Please can anyone help me deleting channels.  On every TV I have ever owned I delete about 100 channels that I never watch or have no interest in but I can't find any instruction in the manual on how to do this (although the manual is not very user friendly), nor have I been able to figure it out.  It's very frustrating having to scroll through page after page after page of unwanted channels.

You may want also as an alternative set up your favourite program list without changing the channels available https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/fceil1/v1/en/060nhm-06-01-04.html
