Reversed colours like acid trip

My phone decided to reverse colours. Black is now white, and vice versa. Not only that, every colour now have a glow like in night vision. Objects gets neon orange or neon green.

   When I start up the phone the blue waves are normal, but within a few seconds they go into night vision acid trip mode.

Would be so so grateful for advice here. Unlike my phone I'm not bright so please be detailed in the response.

Sorry to hear about that, sounds frustrating! 

Can you please check your handset to see if you have the below option:

Settings > Accessibility > Colour Inversion

If you do, there will be a slider you can tap, can you see if this resolves the issue you have with the colours on the screen.
