Email locking up

On occasions the phone will not read in any of my email accounts. I have found the way to resolve the problem is to go into Settings; select an account; select Input Settings but then simply select Done without changing any settings. The email messages then flood in.

This is not a rare event.

Are you using the email application that comes with the phone to access your emails? If not, what app are you using?
