The SMP-N100 doesn't appear to have a search facility to allow you to search for an album or artist when looking for music on a DNLA server. If you have a large music collection, this makes finding a track very time consuming. Would it be possible to add a search facility at some point, possibly using the same text entry method as used to enter the WPA key?

Unlikely it will be added to be honest as it may be more of a DLNA limitaton. Try using Serviio though as your DLNA streamer as it does a very good job or organising the music which might make it a little easier.
Thanks

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am currently evaluating the various DLNA servers, and tried serviio last night. It looks good, and I agree that it does a good job of organising the music folders in a way that makes the system at least useable. It just seems a shame that search facilities are provided for the utube video, but not for the local music libraries.
Many thanks for your help.
