Hello,

is it possible to add a wireless Sony subwoofer to the htx8500? I recently purchased the htx8500 and I find the integrated sub extremely weak even at high settings and it has no punch to it like adding extra base to a normal speaker.

would be great if I can pair it with an extra sub

Hi @mmackieh Unless it was advertised as having a optional wireless subwoofer then no. Sony systems are generally sold as what you see is all you get.
