DAV TZ 140 Audio In Invalid

Hi, 

 

I am atempting to connect a Sonos Connect to my unit via a R/W audio in cable. When selecting the audio in source, I am getting an error on the screen displaying invalid.

Hi there

 

A couple of suggestions:

  • Have you connected the R/W cable from the OUT port on the Sonos Connect?
  • On the TZ140, ensure the source is Audio In
  • Are you playing music on the Sonos that is compatible with it?

I have connected the R/W to out on the Sonos.

Changing the source to audio in is really my issue here, it just says invalid on the screen so I can;t actually do that. 

Definitely using audio that is compatible with Sonos, I have other Sonos devices, this is an addition.

Hi There

 

To be honest, I have no idea on how to help you at this stage.  If i escalate this to Sony Support, they are only going to say that this is a function thar the DAV-TZ140 was not designed for and that they do not support other devices... Or something like that.

 

Unless another forum member has any other ideas, i can only suggesr you contact Sonos Support themselves im afraid.
