When will the reader app for android be available in the UK

Hi i wonder when the the sony reader app for android will be available in the uk as i would find it usfull on my android phone and the Kindle app has been available now for several months

Sony does not sell ePubs in the UK, this would be something to ask Waterstones or the other resellers, Amazon created an app because they sell books and do not want to restrict the products they can be read on.
