With my earlier Sony video cameras I could comtrol the record start and stop through a Lanc lead built into a pistol grip. This was a very useful facility giving more stable hand held pictures and, if I remember rightly, no chance of getting the record start and stop signals out of sync with what you are intending to do. This no longer appears to be the case. Is there a work around?
