Hello, I have an old model handycam - dcr-trv-265e not used for aprox 3 years. last week i tried to record something an i see only some lines on the display. On some forums is stated that is a problem with the ccd.

It is possible to repair this old model? Thanks in advance!

It may well be worth checking over to see if a repair is possible, although most repair centres will charge you a no-refundable deposit to assess the fault and estimate repair costs.

You could try the Sony customer support desk for an idea as to parts availability, or go ahead and register a repair, using the information given in this 'sticky' post:
