HDR-XR155E spilt my recording

I´ve just recorded one hour (it is over 4 gb) and suddenly it´s devided in 3 sections. My handycam records in std hq - and I really don´t know if I can change the quality. I want 1 section that are less than 4 GB - any suggestions?

First of all, in order to adjust the recorded video quality you need to press 'MENU' -> 'SHOOTING SET' and from this sub-menu you will be able to choose whether you wish ro record video in High Definition or Standard Definition.

When recording video, the camera will automatically arrange the recording into manageable pieces that are arranged by scene i.e. usually it will split the video every time you stop and start the recording process. When you upload the video into Picture Motion Browser, the software that comes with the video camera for your PC, you will be able to 'join' these sections together.
