Cannot choose internal memory on HDR-CX115E

Hi All,

Just got a HDR-CX115E and as I turn it on I first set the time and date etc. Everything looks fine but now I would like to try recording with it but the camera keeps telling me that there is no memory card in the camera, which is of course correct as I haven't bought one yet.

However in the manual you are supposed to be able to choose to record on the internal memory instead but the option "Media Settings" together with "Movie media set" cannot be chosen. The option is simply not there in the menu...

What to I need to do in order to record movies on the internal memory?

I will of course buy a memory card but this is still a problem for me. Anyone who know the answer?

Looking at your model, there is no internal memory so you will not be able to use the options mentioned (should be on page 17). If you have a look at page 8 in the manual, the HDR-CX116E and above have an internal memory.

The HDR-CX110E and HDR-CX115E have only the ability to record to Memory card only.
