Xg8396 info bar issue.

Hi does anyone know when sony will fix the info bar coming up on and off when playing a blueray/dvd disc on a player (X800M2). Gets very annoying. Been watching Lee Evans at o2 and info bar keeps coming on and off as we watch Lee... Been happening for a while now..

Have you tried disabling the info banner (under Watching TV in the settings)?

I have looked and option not there.. I have looked in multiple areas and can't see that option anywhere.. Are they fixing the issue..

Sony has confirmed that it's a known issue and that a fix is coming, but as a workaround I thought disabling it altogether would work.

• I would do that but can't find it anywhere. Just won't use X800M2 till fix is out. Thanks for helping...

Do you happen to have the player connected through an amp or soundbar?

A Soundbar (xf9000) so I can run atmos and dts x as tv doesn't allow atmos or dts x through..

Have you tried connecting the player directly to the TV and not through the soundbar?

No not tried but if I do that I don't get atmos.. So what's the point. Plus dts x won't work either if go through TV. Will wait till update. 😊
