Get sound without picture. Was about to try forced reset, when I noticed that pulling gently on the screen from the top restored the picture. Pushing back made the picture disappear. Loose connection inside the set somewhere? Suggestions welcome. Still do factory reset? Did one about a year ago, under instruction, but problem came back and then got worse. Thanks for your help.

Definitely sounds like some internal problem that needs investigating and correcting if possible. The actual issue could be one of several from something simple like a ribbon connector not fully engaged through to breaks in circuit print and poor soldering on some of the surface mounted components.  

A factory reset will do nothing in this case I'm afraid.
