Hi everyone apologies in advance if this question has already been asked I am new to this forum I have been searching online for help been through many forum threads however I'm unable to find information i need.
I have the Sony Bravia kd65xd8599 (Called XD85 in USA) android HDR TV (2016) and PS4 Pro hooked up.
it seems not many people own this TV and Ps4 Pro in this combination. However I think anyone with a Sony android TV might be able to help also in the United States this model is referred to as Sony Bravia XD85D.
I would appreciate some help setting up the tv and the ps4 Pro for optimal settings for picture quality and to reduce input lag and make the most of the HDR I understand there are better TVs out there with better HDR. so far I have already gone ahead and activated the enhanced HDMI
and outputting PS4 Resolution at 2160p RGB, and left everything else at automatic.
my question is should I leave the TV on game mode? or graphics mode? Movie mode or even some other mode?
should I be using full RGB range which my TV supports? Or Limited or automatic?
And are there any other setting that I can tweak for optimum performance from this tv Picture settings?
to be fair I do not understand what all the settings on this tv actually mean.
any suggestion in terms of settings and tweaking would be most appreciated.
Many Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I would recommend to use the Game mode as this was designed for the use with a gaming console.
In terms of color spectrum I would go for Full RGB.
In terms of other pictures settings we have a nice guide that tells you how to find the best pictures settings for you:

This guide has been written for non-Android TVs but can be applied to them as well.
Cheers
