KD-48A9 turning itself back on

I have a KD-48A9, which is running the latest firmware 6.6152.  I find that sometimes after watching a recording made on my Panasonic DMR-BWT800, when I put the Panasonic into standby and then turn off the TV a few seconds later it will turn on again.

I turn it off again and a few seconds later it will turn on.The two external devices connected are the Panasonic recorder mentioned and a Sky+HD box.

I find that if I long press the TV power button and then do a restart, wait for it to come back on and turn off again then it will stay off.  This makes me feel it is not a connected device, but rather a software bug on the TV.   Has anyone else experienced this?

@ccarmock Make sure to turn the connected devices off first before you switch the TV off and check if it will turn on again.

Yes the connected device is off the TV will still repeatedly turn it's back on.  If I restart it with a log press of the power button this fixes the issue for a while.

This makes me think it is a software bug

Disconnect everything and factory reset the TV!
