How do I save a backup of my settings and channels on the xe8396? Also there's no indication of when in standby because the indicator LED appears to be missing or faulty if is there. Is this normal or do I have a problem? I just never know if and when the TV is in standby mode until I press the power button on the remote. Must say I am terribly disappointed with this Android TV because it is comparitively very slow in everything it does. Another annoying feature is the length of time the Andriod logo stays on the screen after switch-on. Any way to get rid if it?

Hi @montyray and welcome to the community,

 

I don't believe there's a way to save a backup of your TV settings, but you should be able to export your channel list (in the channel sorting settings).  And you're right, there's no LED indication when the TV is in standby I'm afraid.
