Is the KD-55XE8577 a 10bit panel
I have been trying to find a website i used to use to find out details about panels but for the life of me i cant find it.
Im trying to find out if the KD-55XE8577 has a 10bit panel? Also does or will it support HDR10+?
Thank you in advance

Hi flunkyou2,
from the spec-sheet it looks like it even supports 14bit color depth, since the upscaling from 8bit and 10bit material to 14bit color depth is advertised.

I don't understand how it can do a 14 bit colour mapping if the panel is still 10 bit (so it says in the spec sheets). Is it like a sort of Super Sampling Anti-Aliasing only for colours instead of resolution? I mean, it improves the image using 14 bits and then it projects it into a 10 bits panel?
