I want to write an app to control my sony a6400 from windows/linux

In particular I want to use it as a webcam is posible??

what SDK is there for sonya6400??

Unfortunately, the only API I know of (Camera Remote API) doesn't support the A6400. You can find more about this specific API here: https://developer.sony.com/develop/cameras/
