I cannot remember any upgrades or changes to the system, I would make at that time. Audio is playing, just the recording part is grayed out. There is also the audio driver in the hardware list correctly shown as working. I also tried the external input and it does not work as well. Tried reinstalling drivers, but it did not help.<BR />This happened to me before half a year and I wanted to take the notebook to the service. <BR />But last week, my brother, who has the same notebook, called me with the same problem.
