DSC - HX400V Camera Memory

Hi All - I have a 32G SD card in my HX400V but receive 'Card Full' message at only 4G.

Is there anywhere within the camera that I can check that the 32G is recognised/available ( less any used memory) or some indication of remaining/empty SD card space?

The 32G registers OK on a card reader.

Any advice appreciated.

Hello @Dunworkin,

which card are you trying to use and where did you purchase it?

To me it sounds like a counterfeit card, which has less memory than it suggests to have.

Hi Betreff - Firstly...Sincere apologies for not replying sooner to your response, for which I thank you.

Card is a SanDisk and genuine (as far as I know!).

Problem seems to have righted itself. I managed to track down camera card volume.....stupid me expeceted it to be listed under 'Memory' when it is actually detailed under the heading 'Media'.
