In an attempt to connect the second phone it gets disconnected first phone. In the manually written as can connect up to 9 devices.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi dasky21,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What it means is that you can &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;register&lt;/SPAN&gt; up to 9 devices - but &lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;not connect&lt;/SPAN&gt; all at the same time.&amp;nbsp; I think the idea is that if someone else is using the car who has their own phone for example, they can register their phone without over-writing your phone which would still connect successfully the next time you used the car.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope that makes sense?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
