I just wanted to express my gratitude to Sony engineers and manufacturers: my Vaio VPCZ12 still works perfecetly (it seems), albeit there is a bit of a wheeze coming from speakers, after I spilled water on it. Of course I am going to have it tested in a service center, but the fact it still works just made my pitiful day :>.

That's so nice that you took the time to come here and give details of your positive experience, most of the time it's all so negative :smileysad:, but I guess thats the case with most forums.
