Xperia 10 VI system ui doesn't react

Hi all!

I received my new Xperia 10 VI a few days ago and I am loving it so far.

I am aware that the SoC isn't the fastest there is, but Youtube is giving me a hard time when swiping up or down through shorts. As soon as I reach the 4th short, the system UI message appears (option to wait or close). All my apps are up to date, so is this happening because of the Snapdragon in this device being too slow/underpowered?

Every other app works fine, even reddit.

Hi!

Glad to hear you're loving your new Xperia 10 VI! The issue with YouTube Shorts may not be due to the Snapdragon SoC. Try clearing the app cache and data, or reinstalling YouTube. If the problem persists, it might be a software optimization issue with YouTube on this device. Every other app working fine suggests the SoC should handle typical tasks without problems.

Hiya!
Clearing the cache somewhat helps for a few minutes, but the issue returns.
Any advice on how to reinstall YouTube? It can only be deactivated, but not
deinstalled as it's a system App?

The update 70.0.A.3.117 (received on Thursday) seems to have fixed the issue for me! Now I'm happy as can be 😍
